The clients both work in the entertainment industry producing guitars and requested a kitchen remodel that would reflect their social lifestyle. This particular vacation home is used as a place to entertain and socialize with friends and family of sorts. The existing kitchen did not allow adequate space to gather with their guests. Inspiration for this remodel was drawn from the Spanish Mediterranean architecture and the Pauma Valley surroundings. The result of the remodel consisted of a spacious kitchen that opens into the family room, maximizing the gathering area of multiple cooks and guests. The island consists of a butcher block countertop with views that look out into the beautiful scenery outdoors. All appliances are stainless steel by Miele to give it a consistent yet contemporary touch to the kitchen. The cabinetry consists of two tones, one which is custom-colored form a piece of wood that the clients like and the other is a black undertone with a sage finish. The newly remodeled kitchen reflects the client’s lifestyle and passion in entertainment and spending time with loved ones.
