Behind the beautiful quarter sawn sepele veneer cabinetry is a world full of technology and accessories making it a one-of-a-kind laundry room. One closet houses the drying cabinet where a fan and heat lamp can dry the client’s hanging clothes. A drip pan and ventilation takes care of excess moisture. A broom and ironing board is conveniently located within another closet to make care of the room and clothes an ease within a single room. Two built-in Rev-A-Shelf make room for his and hers clothes basket. A corner susan is used to organize detergents and other laundry supplies while a super susan is available to house their dog food. An open undercounter space makes room for a litter box. Ten feet high floor-to-ceiling storage provides maximum, storage space within the laundry room. Top of the line washer and dryers by Bosch are used to make doing laundry an ease. The space is anchored by an enamel cast iron deep laundry sink by Kohler to help tie the whole space together. A granite countertop provides a platform for various tasks. This laundry room provides a space for clients to do an everyday task in an anything by ordinary space.
The kitchen was small, old and out dated. The final straw, the cabinets were painted on a Saturday night with brown house paint that matched the existing brown grout. Something had to be done.
The new kitchen is now functional for two or three cooks. The children can sit around the butcher block table and do their homework. The expanded window brings in the warm western sun. The new kitchen was designed with an open European influence. Friends and family can gather around and listen to music while the chef prepares meals. |
